THE LONDON FESTIVAL is a not-for-profit event. All proceeds will be donated to Empower London Foundation, a registered charity that funds social, educational, and cultural programmes across the Greater London area.
In agreement with our partnered charities, the funding awarded by Empower will be used exclusively to elevate and expand key initiatives in underprivileged communities. Our aim is to raise a minimum of £15M annually to better the lives of children and adults.
Empower London Foundation is a newly incorporated charity with a mission to serve the capital. Every year, we’ll raise critical funds to finance programmes which the government cannot.
With a focus on initiatives that better the lives of the disadvantaged, we aim to change the face of London — whether that’s by distributing free books to children, delivering emergency school meal programmes, or investing in grassroots projects and startups
Empower London Foundation believes transparency is non-negotiable. That’s why we’ll be open and honest about every facet of the festival’s performance through our annual reporting (made available to the public).
All financials will be audited in compliance with the relevant regulatory authorities, including the Charity Commission for England
(an independent, non-ministerial government department.)
Small business, exciting start-up, or innovative pop-up?
The rules are simple: 55% of each item sold must have been made in the capital. This ensures visitors are buying ‘Made in London’ consumer goods, in-line with the festival’s ethos.
